The Company

Formed when some of its members met at the Jacques Lecoq theatre school in Paris in 2001, the company quickly specialised in puppet and object theatre, which it sees as a prime medium for bringing together a wide range of disciplines (writing, visual arts, visual theatre, physical theatre). Exploring the absurd, poetry, and questioning the meaningful and the senseless are some of its key areas of research, alongside construction work, theatrical machinery, and exploring possible ways of engaging with audiences.
 
With 13 productions to her name and over 20 years in the business, she has patiently built up her professional networks by organising events (festivals, carte blanche programmes, and collective projects at national festivals), by showcasing its productions mainly within the street arts network, and by participating as a steering committee member in regional events (Mima Off, and formerly Art Pantin).
It has performed the show La Route over 750 times, having been on tour for more than 18 years.
